About Us
Horst’s Bavarian Auto Works was founded in 2001 by Horst Rietschel, a BMW Master Technician with over four decades of elite hands-on experience. Built on a foundation of immaculate craftsmanship, absolute transparency, and passion for engineering, the shop quickly became Sarasota County’s trusted home for the area’s rarest and most expensive vehicles.
What began as a specialized boutique shop has evolved. Today, we operate out of a state-of-the-art, hyper-clean nine-bay service facility. While our scale has grown, our core philosophy remains unchanged: every vehicle is treated as a masterpiece of engineering.
